AI policy statement

How we use AI at CPL One Group

As artificial intelligence tools evolve, our commitment to creativity, original thought and editorial integrity remains unchanged.

Our core operating principle is simple: humans always in charge.

At CPL One Group we view AI as an operational assistant – not a creator.  It helps us streamline tasks, research ideas, and speed up technical setups.  In specific circumstances and with the full buy-in of clients,  we occasionally deploy specialised automated systems like NoahWire to aggregate raw news feeds, but every piece of strategy, journalism, design, code and content we deliver is overseen, vetted and finalised by human specialists.

Examples of how we use AI

  • Editors and strategists may use AI to summarise dense background material, outline broad concepts, or analyse datasets to spark creative ideas.
  • Web developers and designers use automation and AI tools to optimise code syntax, generate placeholder layouts, or support with  routine digital tasks.
  • Production teams may use AI for audio clean-up or transcript generation.
  • For select client contracts requiring high-frequency news, we are testing the use of NoahWire to source and verify stories. Every piece carries explicit disclosure and is curated by a human editor before distribution.

What we never do

  • No uncurated AI content: with the sole exception of client-approved, transparently labelled news feeds (NoahWire), we never publish or deliver raw, unedited, or fully AI-generated copy, visual design, video or audio.
  • No compromise on intellectual property: we ensure that all creative deliverables originate from human authorship, protecting the copyright and IP rights of the work we create on behalf of our clients.
  • No client data exploitation: we never input proprietary, confidential or sensitive client data into public or unsecure AI models. Enterprise privacy tools and strict data boundaries protect all client communications and assets.
  • No automated fact-checking: AI tools can hallucinate. Every line of text, data point, quote, or media reference is independently verified by a human editor prior to client delivery or publication.
