What do Cabbells, Apple and the National Theatre have in common?

It feels like only yesterday we started this journey, but 2026 sees Cabbells officially hit the big 50.

To put that in perspective, we entered the world at a turning point for culture and tech. In 1976, the South Bank was transformed by the opening of the Royal National Theatre, and the tech world changed forever as a small start-up called Apple launched its first computer.

And quietly, behind the scenes, Cabbells began its own journey in connecting culture through content.

50 years on, we’re still doing what we love: working alongside incredible organisations across the arts and cultural heritage sector, helping bring stories to life. Our longevity is not just down to our ability to evolve in a changing landscape, but also to the trust and creativity of the clients we’ve partnered with along the way.

To mark this milestone, we’re delighted to unveil our newly-refreshed website, along with a special 50th anniversary logo. It’s a moment to reflect on where we’ve come from, and to showcase what we do best today: storytelling, through print and digital media, that resonates with audiences.

After all, we are Cabbells – and this milestone is as much yours as it is ours.

Here’s to the next 50 years!
